Our Services

Our carpet cleaning services in Brisbane

We provide all of the carpet, upholstery, hard surface, and pest treatments necessary for most Brisbane homes and offices. Below are descriptions of each of our services.

Residential carpet cleaning

We specialise in hot water extraction for home carpets, often known as steam cleaning. Our process begins with vacuuming and targeted stain treatment. We then use hot water mixed with a gentle solution to clean the carpet fibres thoroughly, followed by extracting the moisture with a powerful wand. Depending on factors like humidity and airflow, carpets usually dry in 2 to 6 hours. This method suits nylon, polypropylene, wool blends, and most synthetic carpets.

Commercial carpet cleaning

For businesses including offices, retail spaces, medical facilities, and common areas in strata buildings, we offer flexible scheduling, including after-hours and weekends, to ensure no disruption. When quick drying is essential, we use very low moisture (VLM) encapsulation. This technique effectively cleans commercial-grade loop pile carpets, allowing them to be ready for use in about an hour. We provide clear invoicing, making it easy for property managers and facilities coordinators.

End of lease and bond carpet cleaning

Moving out can be stressful, especially when you need to leave the carpets spotless for your exit report. We offer a compliant steam cleaning service and provide an itemised invoice that property managers or real estate agents will accept. If required, we can also perform flea treatments. We offer same-day or next-day service when our schedule permits.

Learn More

Upholstery cleaning

We clean sofas, armchairs, dining chairs, ottomans, and headboards using a hot water extraction method suited to the fabric. Priced per seat, with honest advice upfront if a piece is past the point where cleaning will help. Note: we do not clean leather.

Rug cleaning

We usually clean rugs on-site, including those made of wool, synthetic fibres, blends, and cotton. For delicate or heirloom rugs, we use a low-moisture method to protect the backing and prevent dye bleeding. We will advise if a rug requires more specialised off-site cleaning instead of our on-site service.

Pest control

Matt is licensed for pest control and handles common household pests in Brisbane, such as fleas, cockroaches, spiders, silverfish, and ants. We use low-toxicity solutions, ensuring safety for children and pets, and provide clear guidelines on how to manage treated areas. Pairing flea treatment with carpet steam cleaning is recommended if pets have been in the home.

Steam cleaning or dry cleaning?

Steam cleaning or dry cleaning: Which one do you need?

This is one of the most common questions we’re asked. While there isn’t a simple answer to this question, in our opinion, it all depends on the type of carpet, degree of contamination, the time you require the room to be cleaned in, and whether or not the fibres can handle a full water flush. Here’s how we think about it.

When to choose steam cleaning

Steam cleaning (also known as hot water extraction) is your best bet for tackling deeply embedded dirt and stains. It’s ideal for carpets with heavy soiling, pet mishaps, and stubborn stains. Long-pile carpets, which tend to hold dirt deep within their fibres, also benefit greatly from this method. If your carpet hasn’t seen a professional cleaning in over a year, this process can restore its cleanliness. In fact, most carpet makers insist on this method every 12 to 18 months to keep your warranty intact, making it our go-to advice for home cleanings.

One downside to steam cleaning is the drying time. After the process, carpets can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours to feel dry, with full drying typically by the next morning. During Brisbane’s humid summers, it’s wise to expect a longer drying time and to keep fans running to speed things up.

When dry cleaning is the better option

Dry cleaning, which uses very low moisture, is perfect when you need quick access to a room. Think of an office that must reopen the next day, a hotel room ready for a new guest, or a last-minute inspection. It’s also a gentler choice for natural fibre rugs and delicate carpets that could shrink or brown with too much water.

However, dry cleaning isn’t as effective at removing deep dirt or old stains. Before opting for it to save on drying time, consider if the carpet truly needs a deep clean. The extra hour or two of drying time with steam cleaning often pays off in cleanliness.

Our advice

For most homes in Brisbane, hot water extraction is the preferred method. It reaches deeper into the carpet fibres, aligns with most warranty requirements, and in a well-aired home, drying time is usually manageable. We suggest very low moisture cleaning only when necessary, such as for a quick turnaround, a delicate fabric, a commercial area that can’t close, or when the carpet is already quite damp from a recent cleaning.

If you’re uncertain, share details about your carpet’s type, age, level of soiling, and when you need the room ready. We’ll provide clear guidance before you book.

Built for the Brisbane climate

Carpet cleaning built for Brisbane's humid, subtropical climate

The carpet-cleaning process in Brisbane is different from that in Melbourne and Adelaide. Humidity during summer in Brisbane remains between 60% and 75%. In some weeks of January and February, it hardly falls below this mark, even at night. This affects the way carpets dry, the rate at which fungi grow, the manner of cleaning the carpets, and the waiting time before the room can be used again.

How we stop mould and mildew after cleaning

Any wet cleaning system carries the same risk of having excess water remain on the carpet or underlay for too long, especially in a moist environment. We use advanced truck-mounted equipment and portable extraction units that extract water better than most low-end rental units, making it much less likely that your carpet will develop mould due to excess moisture.

On humid days, we’ll put air movers at your request to speed up the drying process, open windows and inner doors to allow for ventilation, recommend using your air conditioner to cool if applicable, and make our extraction passes longer to extract more water. If there is a part of your carpet that has been leaking or flooded for a while, we will be straightforward about whether it can be cleaned on the surface or if it would be better to replace the underlay.

Why timing your clean is so important during Brisbane summers

It would be wise not to schedule your steam cleaning on days when the weather forecast shows a humidity level above 80%, especially during rainy seasons. This is because drying time increases, and you’re more likely to notice residual dampness in the pile for an extra day as a result.

Carpet cleaning in Brisbane is best carried out during cooler and drier conditions, which usually happen during late autumn and winter. Any day that promises low humidity levels along with a breeze blowing through the home would be ideal. But even if a carpet cleaning job needs to be scheduled during the peak of summer, it’s not a problem; all we need to do is allow more time for drying.

Our process

Our cleaning process from booking to final walk-through

All jobs follow a four-step process, no matter if it’s a three-bedroom home in East Brisbane or an entire office fit-out in South Brisbane. You will know exactly what to expect before we even arrive.

1

Pre-inspection & furniture moved

When we arrive, we start by walking through your space with you. We look for stains, areas affected by pets, high-traffic zones, or anything else you'd like us to focus on. As part of our service, we move lighter furniture such as dining chairs, coffee tables, side tables, and small ottomans. Larger items, like beds, wardrobes, large sofas, and bookshelves, remain in place unless you've requested otherwise when scheduling.

2

Pre-vacuum and pre-treatment of stains

To begin cleaning, we first vacuum the carpets to remove dry soil. Next, we apply a special solution to high-traffic areas and specific stains. This solution needs time to work, breaking down dirt and grime before we proceed to the next step. Skipping this part is often why less thorough services leave stains behind.

3

Hot water extraction steam clean

Then, we perform a hot water extraction steam clean. We use high-pressure hot water to rinse the carpet, extracting moisture simultaneously with our cleaning wand. We pay extra attention to areas with heavy foot traffic or pet stains, ensuring we remove as much water as possible by moving the wand slowly.

4

Deodorise, groom and final inspection

If needed or requested, we apply a mild deodoriser to tackle odours from pets, smoke, moisture, or cooking. We then groom the carpet with a pile brush, which helps the fibres stand up straight, speeding up drying and creating a more even appearance. Before we finish, we review the results with you, checking for any remaining issues. If any area needs more attention, we address it right away to ensure your satisfaction.

Carpet cleaning prices

How much does carpet cleaning cost in Brisbane?

In Brisbane, the cost of residential carpet cleaning usually ranges from $35 to $55 per room for standard rooms. If you’re looking to clean an entire house, the price per room often decreases once you have three or more rooms to clean. For instance, a standard three-bedroom home, including a lounge and hallway, typically costs between $150 and $220. When it comes to upholstery, pricing is done per seat. A two-seater sofa generally costs around $80 to $120, while a three-seater ranges from $110 to $160.

Service Approximate price
Standard room (per room) $35 to $55
3-bedroom home (lounge + hallway) $150 to $220
2-seater sofa $80 to $120
3-seater sofa $110 to $160
Stairs (per flight) From $30

Several factors can influence these prices, primarily the condition of your carpet. If your carpets are heavily soiled, stained with substances like red wine or coffee, or require pet urine treatment, this can add to the cost. Additionally, cleaning stairs or accessing high-rise apartments with lift bookings may require extra time and effort. We believe in transparency, so we provide honest quotes upfront to avoid any surprises later. For end-of-lease cleaning, our quotes include any necessary flea treatment. Before we begin, we’ll offer you a fixed price. If you’re interested in a quote specific to your property, feel free to book a no-obligation quote with us, and we’ll take it from there.

Carpet cleaning Brisbane, answered

Frequently asked questions

How often should I get my carpets professionally cleaned in Brisbane?

Professional carpet cleaning services should be done about once every year for the average home. For homes that contain children, pets, or lots of foot traffic, six months to one year would be more suitable. That timeframe will also ensure you keep your warranty intact.

Following the hot water extraction process, you should expect that your carpets feel drier after 2 to 6 hours, with complete dryness between 12 and 24 hours later. The Brisbane humidity makes the drying time trend towards the higher end of the spectrum during the summer months.

Yes. Our standard cleaners are non-toxic and biodegradable and are designed to be used safely near children and animals after drying of the carpets. If you are using our services in an environment where there are people with sensitive skin and allergies, please inform us at the time of booking, and we’ll adjust the chemistry.

Yes and no. If the stains are recent, there is a chance we can remove them. Some stains (such as pet urine and dye stains that have already set in for several years) can fade instead of being removed. This will be established during the pre-inspection stage and tell you honestly what’s realistic before we start.

We don’t have a call-out fee but instead use a minimum job charge, meaning that everything remains simpler for you. Should your project consist of just a few small rooms or a rug, we will tell you the minimum on your call, and you may decide to include other spaces as well.

We service the full Brisbane metro area within a 25km radius of the CBD. This includes the central suburbs, all of southside, northside up to Bracken Ridge, the westside to Kenmore, as well as bayside areas such as Manly and Wynnum.
