Do you guarantee your work?

Not happy with the results? Simply give us a call in 48 hours after job completion and we will book you in as soon as possible to redo it totally free of charge. Our guarantee is 48 hours including public holidays.
Is there any cancellation fee?
We need 48 hours cancellation notice. If you want to reschedule your job, you can do it at no extra cost, but if you like to cancel it, there is $39 cancellation fee if you don’t give us 48 hours notice.
Should I be there while you clean?
That’s completely up to you!
All we need is the key, running water, electricity and a place to park our van so we can commence the job. To minimise the imposition of having your carpets cleaned, we’re happy to collect the key from your real estate agent (if it’s within 5km of the premises), your neighbour or even grab it from under your doormat.
We can also give you a call when we are near completion so you can come back and inspect our work to ensure you’re satisfied with the service.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, we accept VISA, MasterCard and AMEX. There is however, an additional 2% surcharge per transaction if paid by credit card.
We’re a business, do you work outside of office hours?
We understand interrupting your business trading hours to have your carpets steam cleaned isn’t ideal and can be quite costly. We aim to be flexible with our availability, that’s why we can clean your carpets or upholstery outside of normal business hours.
Is there any extra charge for upper levels in apartments?
There is an extra $10 charge for lifting the machine to the upper levels without lift.
I live in an apartment; do you charge extra?
Yes, there is a $10 charge for our technician to lift our equipment to apartments on upper levels.
What is steam cleaning?
Stream cleaning is the best method of cleaning carpets to effectively remove layers of dirt and stubborn stains. The process involves hot water extraction which provides a deep, thorough clean when applied and is then extracted through our powerful vacuum.
Our method is gentle on your carpets and upholstery, child safe and pet friendly and reduces the overall drying time. This means your family will be able to enjoy the freshly cleaned carpets in no time and for our commercial clients, we won’t interrupt your business for too long.

Do you charge extra for stain removal?
Stain removal is all part of the package; however, some stains are incredibly effective at damaging the fibres of carpets. Wine stains and urine for example, can permanently change the carpet fabric colour. While we endeavour to remove as much of the stain as possible, it will depend on the type of stain.
To minimise the effects of stubborn stains on your carpet, get in touch with us as soon as they occur.
Does Carpestology pre-vacuum the carpet?
To ensure we can provide you with affordable prices, we ask you to do a quick vacuum of your carpets before our arrival. Doing this will also ensure you get the best results from our steam clean.
How long does it take for the carpet to get dry?
The benefit of steam cleaning is that you don’t have to wait for the entire day before you can walk on your carpets. It usually takes about 2 to 3 hours to completely dry, however it does depend on the weather. In rainy, cold conditions this may take a little longer, but our team will advise you on the day.
Do you need power to do carpet cleaning?
Yes, please! Our steam cleaning equipment requires power and water to operate. We also require a car park for our van near to your premises. So if you’re vacating your property at the end of a lease, please don’t shut off the electricity and water services until after our visit.
Do you pre-vacuum the carpet?
To help keeping our price as affordable as you can see, we ask our clients to vacuum the carpet before hand, otherwise extra charge will be applied.
Is your service and quality comparable to the more expensive carpet cleaning companies?
